Šejla Kamerić will have a solo exhibition titled “Firstborn” at the Petrović Castle and The House of The King’s Guard, MCAM, which will be open to the public from September 12th to November 10th, 2024.
Focusing on questioning identity values based on personal experience, as well as on the social pattern that involves stereotypically defined concepts of women and femininity, the exhibition “Firstborn” brings powerful artistic perceptions by Šejla Kamerić, rooted in pronounced empathy as a key mechanism of communication in her artistic work.
