A young man gets up every morning before dawn to pick up the freshly printed newspapers and delivers them by bike. He doesn’t mind the early hour, or the endeavor of climbing up hundreds of steps. Each single roll of newspaper is delivered directly to each individual household. A young woman, who dreams of becoming an actress, challenges herself by taking up the young man’s role and carries out his routine. With haunting images of a cold city and a sniper’s view of Sarajevo, the artist opens a discourse which disputes the notion that efficiency and profit alone can build the foundation for a functional society.
