“Grit Richters multidimensional artistic practice constantly revolves around the issue of how to depict the vacancy William Woodsworth is wondering about. Memories, may they be subjective or collective, have a fluid character; so have feelings and relationships. It is very hard to put them into words, to define them and thus fix them. To meet this challenge, Richter created her own visual language to make her inner processes visible.
