INCITING PASSION
Group exhibition curated by Julia Hartmann
Vienna Art Week
Nov 10 – Nov 17, 2023

The 19th edition of VIENNA ART WEEK took place from November 10 to 17, 2023. With the theme “Inciting Passion,” passion in all its forms was the linchpin of this year’s festival.

Passion can be a driving force that inspires and motivates people to pursue their goals and desires with a radical level of commitment and dedication. It can bring out the best in us, but it can also be potentially destructive and dangerous. With this year’s theme, VIENNA ART WEEK aimed to capture this ambiguity in all its different shades and reflect the emotional state of our time, from the private to the public sphere.
