Following her acclaimed participation in the last Venice Biennale and recent solo exhibitions at New York’s New Museum, Munich’s Haus der Kunst and Toronto’s MOCA, and prior to the Canadian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, Kapwani Kiwanga will take over the museum’s Grand Nave for an original project conceived in relation to the history of the site, which in the 19th century was a warehouse for colonial goods, and in 1973 became one of the most emblematic sites for contemporary creation in France and abroad.
